Domestic Violence 24-Hour Hotline
Our trained staff provide 24-hour crisis intervention, safety planning, legal advocacy, information & referral, supportive counseling and immediate access to emergency shelter.
Our staff is available for 24-hour response to the emergency room or hospital providing information and emotional support to a person experiencing domestic violence or homelessness.
Counseling and Advocacy for Adults
We offer individual counseling addressing the trauma related to experiencing domestic violence or homelessness and assistance with vocational, educational and housing needs. Our groups offer emotional support and education and an opportunity for survivors to share their experiences with each other.
Counseling and Advocacy for Children
We offer individual and group counseling designed to aid in the healing process for children who have witnessed domestic violence or experienced homelessness. Also, we provide parenting support and advocacy with schools and other service providers on behalf of the child.
Legal Advocacy
Information is provided about a domestic violence survivor’s rights and protections under the Illinois Domestic Violence Act. Legal Advocates provide support and technical assistance for obtaining, extending and enforcing an order of protection, and other kinds of civil court proceedings.
Domestic Violence & Transitional Shelter
Our safe shelter and comprehensive services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for survivors of domestic violence, their children and any unsafe family or household member who have experienced or are at risk of abuse in their environment.
The transitional shelter offers comprehensive and supportive services for women and their minor children who are experiencing homelessness for up to one year.
